Maybe! Our one-one-one clients get great results in healing and reducing pain, especially when they come in at least three times a week. If it is in your budget to pay $18K per year on Pilates sessions, working one-on-one with an expert teacher on an ongoing basis is a great option.

If you already have a consistent practice that keeps your chronic pain in check so you can keep living your best life, you don’t need this program.
But if you find that you no longer know how to manage your pain through your practice, or the practice that used to work well for you is now ACTIVATING your injuries, MOVEMENT MEDICINE is an excellent choice.
Our most active MOVEMENT MEDICINE clients (who have included avid yogis and former D1 collegiate athletes) often need support in creating an adaptive practice - one that can meet the needs of the body they have NOW, not the one they had two, or ten, or twenty years ago.
The good news is that once you learn how to build an adaptive practice, you’ll know how to continue to shift your self-care routine as you get older and your body and your life continue to change.

Yes. MOVEMENT MEDICINE is designed to support you in developing a practice that you can do NO MATTER WHAT - even if you just had surgery or you can’t get out of bed. The truth is that MOST folks have limited mobility at some point in their lives, and so a truly adaptive practice HAS to work no matter what your mobility constraints are. That’s how we teach you to work in MOVEMENT MEDICINE!
In your weekly yoga and Pilates classes taught within the MOVEMENT MEDICINE container, Marisha will be prepared to offer variations using a chair for support as needed.
